Many in Allerton and the surrounding Liverpool areas know the Joseph Gibbons Centre well. It has been a cornerstone of local activity for decades, but it now requires significant refurbishment to meet the needs of a modern community. TrailStart is dedicated to managing this transition with care, ensuring the building is safe, accessible, and energy-efficient.
A Separate Path for Success
We often get questions about our relationship with the 25th Allerton Scout Group. While we share a deep respect for their work, TrailStart and the Scouts are separate organisations. The Scout Group is intended to be one of our primary users, alongside a diverse range of other community groups and local residents who will call this centre home.
The Current State of Play
Currently, the centre is not open to the public. We are in the middle of a complex process involving asset transfers and securing the substantial funding needed for building repairs. We appreciate the patience of our neighbors as we navigate these essential legal and financial steps to ensure a stable future for the site.
